Thông tin hướng dẫn tham gia chương trình PINK TARZAN

PINK TARZAN đón nhận các bức ảnh từ bất kỳ nơi nào trên thế giới. Xin hãy đọc kỹ các hướng dẫn sau trước khi bạn gửi tác phẩm ảnh của mình cho chúng tôi.

1.   Tác giả phải đảm bảo bản quyền bức ảnh thuộc về mình

2. Trong bức ảnh được gửi phải có một nhân vật nam mặc hoặc cầm, nắm giữ một vật màu hồng.  

    Bất kỳ sắc độ nào của màu hồng đều được đón nhận.

3. Trong bức ảnh không được khỏa thân hoàn toàn.

4.      Nội dung của bức ảnh phải mang tính hài hước.

5.      Bức ảnh không được mang nội dung  tiêu cực, một cách rõ ràng hay ẩn ý, đối với bất kỳ quốc tích, giới tính, tôn giáo, tầng lớp hoặc vùng miền nào.

6.      Người chụp ảnh nên đề tên mình ở góc trái phía dưới của bức ảnh.

7.      Người chụp ảnh phải gửi kèm thư xác nhận đồng ý của bất kì cá nhân nam/ nữ xuất hiện trong bức ảnh ngoại trừ bản thân tác giả.

8. Người chụp ảnh cần chọn một tiêu đề phù hợp cho bức hình của mình kèm lý do tại sao lại chọn tiêu đề đó. NAME có thể hỗ trợ việc đặt tiêu đề ảnh cho bất cứ người tham gia nào.

Xin vui lòng gửi bức ảnh nguyên gốc dưới dạng file nén đến địa chỉ email

projectpinktarzan@gmail.com  và đính kèm một file doc/rtf/docx có tên của người chụp ảnh, ngày chụp ảnh, địa điểm chụp ảnh và nội dung số 7 ở trên nếu có. Nếu có bất kì cá nhân nào không phải người chụp hình trong bức ảnh, NAME yêu cầu phải có lá thư xác nhận sự đồng ý tham gia của cá nhân đó.

NAME Art Space là một tổ chức phi lợi nhuận. Dự án PINK TARZAN là một dự án tự nguyện phi thương mại. Chúng tôi mang đến cho người tham gia sự tri ân và niềm hạnh phúc vô giá được giúp đỡ những con người vào lúc họ cần nhất. Chúng tôi không thể trao tặng bất kỳ phần thưởng vật chất nào.

Những bức ảnh được chọn sẽ được triển lãm ở bệnh viện K, Hà Nội vì đối tượng hướng đến của dự án PINK TARZAN là bệnh nhận ung thư vú và người thân cũng như bạn bè của họ. Nếu NAME nhận được bất kì sự hỗ trợ tài chính nào từ các tổ chức hay cá nhân, chúng tôi sẽ lập kế hoạch dung nguồn tài trợ đó để in các tấm ảnh được chọn dưới dạng những tấm thiệp và tặng cho bệnh nhân ung thư vú. Một khi làm được việc đó, tác giả của bức ảnh sẽ nhận được một bức hình chụp bệnh nhân ung thư vú với tác phẩm của mình. Còn phần thưởng nào hơn biết rằng mình đã mang đến nụ cười cho ai đó và làm cuộc sống của họ hạnh phúc hơn!

Hạn chót gửi ảnh sẽ được thông báo sau. Hiện tại NAME vẫn nhận các bức ảnh đến hết tháng 12.

Còn chần chừ gì nữa! Nếu bạn đã có thiết bị chụp hình, hãy thỏa sức sáng tạo và gửi đến chúng tôi những ấn tương mang phong cách Tarzan Pink nhất!

Đơn giản là tiếng cười!

Trên thế giới đã và đang có rất nhiều những dự án nhằm nâng cao nhận thức và gây quỹ giúp đỡ bệnh nhân ung thư vú – ở cả hai giới. Trong số đó có những dự án được thực hiện với tiếng cười vui vẻ và chúng tôi cũng là một trong số này.

Bệnh ung thư ảnh hưởng trực tiếp lên cơ thể người bệnh và ảnh hưởng gián tiếp lên tinh thần những người thân chăm sóc họ. Nhìn người thân của mình chịu đau đớn thật không dễ dàng, đặc biệt là nỗi đau của bệnh ung thư.Trong khi cố hết sức mình để chữa trị cho người bệnh, các y bác sĩ rất cần tiếng cười vui vẻ từ một góc nhìn hài hước về cuộc sống, ngay cả khi ở giữa trận chiến cam go này. Tiếng cười là liều thuốc kì diệu giúp trẻ hóa và làm đầy tràn sức sống trong tâm hồn con người.

Ung thư dưới bất kỳ hình thức nào cũng là thách thức với tinh thần và cơ thể con người nói riêng và với toàn bộ nền y học nói chung. Tuy nhiên một bệnh như ung thư vú có thể bị bắt giữ nếu chúng ta có đầy đủ nhận thức về bệnh. Tại nhiều quốc gia Châu Á, hiểu biết về cơ thể con người cùng những biến chuyển của nó còn chưa đầy đủ, kéo theo nhận thức về căn bệnh ung thư vú còn kém. Nhằm thay đổi kịch bản này, NAME Art Space, một tổ chức cá nhân phi lợi nhuận có trụ sở tại Hà Nội, Việt Nam, đang thực hiện dự án PINK TARZAN. Dự án hoạt động trên cơ sở dùng tiếng cười để mang đến niềm vui và nâng cao nhận thức của mọi người.

Submission guidelines for PINK TARZAN

PINK TARZAN is open for submissions of photographs from anyone across the world. Please read the entire set of guidelines before you send in your contribution.

1.  It must be an original composition of the photographer.     
2.  The composition must include an individual dressed, or, holding, or, using something in pink. All shades of pink are welcome.
3. The composition must not have complete nudity.
4. The composition must be humorous in nature.
5. The composition must not induce negative emotions towards any nationality, gender, religion, class and/or region in explicit or implicit manner.
6. The photograph may have the photographer’s name written at the bottom left corner.
7. The photographer must provide a letter of consent of any individual, other than himself/herself, appearing in the composition.
8. The photograph should preferably be accompanied by an appropriate title and why the photographer chooses to use that title. NAME can assist in determining a title for the photographs if any photographer may need aid in titling.

Please send original photographs as zipped email attachments to projectpinktarzan@gmail.com . Also attach a .doc/ .rtf/ .docx file with the name of the photographer, the date of the photograph, the place where the photograph is shot and a title (see #7 also). If the photograph involves an individual other than the photographer in the shot, then NAME requests a letter of consent from that individual.

NAME Art Space is a non-profit institution. Project PINK TARZAN is a voluntary non-commercial initiative. We offer the contributors an acknowledgement of contribution and the priceless joy of touching someone’s life when she needs it the most. We are unable to offer any financial reward.

The selected photographs will be exhibited in Hanoi at the Cancer Hospital since the target audience of PINK TARZAN is the breast cancer patients and their families and friends. If NAME manages to receive generous financial help from any institution or individual, then we plan to print out the selected photographs in post-card formats for free distribution amongst the cancer patients. If we manage to organize this, then the photographers will receive a photograph of the patient with his/her selected photograph. What can be more rewarding than knowing that you made someone smile!

The definitive submission deadline will be announced at a later date. Now, we are open to submissions through December.

So, get your photography gear, let loose your creative juices and make a Tarzanic impression!

The method in this madness

While ‘pink’ is the internationally acknowledged color for cancer awareness and is also currently re-interpreted as the color of the LGBT community, many of you may ask - but what does ‘Tarzan’ have to do with this project?

Most of us have watched Tarzan – in comic strips and in films – fly across dense forests hanging onto an arbitrary branch that appeared along his way. Tarzan is the epitome of the animal agility and the free spirit that is nascent in all humans. That’s what we at NAME believe as we call out to each other in the Tarzan voice. No, we do not literally shout out the wavy Tarzanic call : Aw aw aw aw aw ….” each time we meet each other. Metaphorically, we believe that humans are capable of astounding feats if only they realize their indomitable spirit.

Project PINK TARZAN is born out of that Tarzanic call of the wild.

To us, the women who suffer from breast cancer, as well as, their immediate families and friends, exhibit this resolute human spirit. While the disease encroaches upon a woman’s body – at times, forcing the removal of her beautiful breasts – they fight against this disease for themselves, for their families and for their children. They are the Tarzans in real life. They hang by the thread of medicine and chemotherapy as they swing across the dense uncertainty of life that they share with their partners and their children. Their immediate caregivers – their husbands and their families – also demonstrate the Tarzanic spirit. Without their support and care the journey through the disease will be a lot more difficult for the women breast cancer patients.

Project PINK TARZAN is dedicated to the women who are suffering from this disease; to the women who have conquered this disease; to the memory of the women who have put up a great fight till the end; and, to the caring and loving families of breast cancer patients. This project aims at increasing awareness about one’s own body to look for signs that need medical attention. And above all, project PINK TARZAN is a salute to the human spirit of “never say die!”

Join in with your Tarzanic photographs to share a laugh and enjoy the pleasure of having created an oasis of joy in the otherwise tough lives of the women breast cancer patients.

Introducing Project PINK TARZAN - Creating laughter for a cause

Around the globe there are numerous projects to create awareness and raise funds for breast cancer patients – both men and women. Of them, there are some which do it with laughter. We are here to join that gang. NAME Art Space is thrilled to announce the launch of its Project PINK TARZAN today!

Cancer affects the physical body of the patient suffering from this disease. It is no surprise that this disease also affects the spirit of those who act as immediate care-givers to the patients. It is difficult for family and friends to watch a person they love to go through such pain. While the doctors do the best that they can for the patients, there is much need for enjoying a laugh and smiling at funny aspects of life even in the midst of this trial. Laughter is that magic potion that rejuvenates the vitality of the human spirit.

While cancer in all forms is a challenge to the human spirit, to the human body and to the entire body of medicine, breast cancer is a disease that can be arrested at a primary stage, if the person is aware of the possibility of the disease. Awareness of one’s physical body and the changes in it that signal medical attention is not adequate in contemporary Asian countries. NAME Art Space, a non-profit private institution based in Hanoi, Vietnam is organizing project PINK TARZAN as an initiative to change this scenario. Its modus operandi is creating laughter for joy and for awareness.

NAME would like to acknowledge the inspiration that it gathered from Bob Carey’s The Tutu Project amongst others.
